As from the year 1964 to 1973 Elvins designed and manufactured Electronic Keyboard Musical Instruments. such as Electronic Organs, Touch sensitive Electronic Pianos, Synthesizers. Elvins sold them as ready made musical instruments or DIY kits with fully illustrated manuals and instructions.

Elvins also manufactured the original 'X' type portable stands for Keyboard Instruments and it was quickly copied by the whole world.

DJ Equipment

The original Kill switches were made in 1973 by Elvins Electronic Musical Instruments

Elvins have been manufacturing and marketing Kill Switch DJ products since 1973. DJ products such as the Starfire Pre-Amps in 1973, Elvins MX4 Mixers 1975, Elvins MX44 mixer 1984 even the GEC10 Graphic Equalisers had Bass Kill, Mid Kill, and Treble Kill.

Since 1993 some twenty years later the Kill switches are being copied by other DJ equipment manufacturers.

The new innovative DJ mixing technology

Once again Elvins lead the way in the DJ mixing technology with Vampmix.

VAMPMIX

A new technique of mix and assign Bass, Mid and Treble frequencies between channels. Vampmix means enhancement of frequencies. The system uses VCF (voltage control filters) arrangement. The frequency filter networks are controlled and activated by touch sensitive pads or push buttons.

The touch sensitive Vamp circuits reacts very fast and the attack time is instantaneous. This means you can produce different sounds by tapping on the Touch Sensitive Pads or Buttons to activate different frequency filters in rhythmic beat with the tune in the same channel or from the opposite channel. You can Chop, Enhance, Kill, Swap and Vamp the Bass, Midbass, Mid, Treble, on live shows or recording.
The Vampmix systems are designed as separate free standing units and as a complete mixers.
